Services, Fees,
and What to Expect

Brief Consultation (15 minutes)  |  Free

I offer a 15-minute phone or Zoom consultation at no cost. This is a chance for you to ask me any questions you have and for us to ensure we're likely to be a good fit before scheduling a full session.

Individual Therapy (50 minutes)  |  $180 per session

While it depends on your goals and stage of therapy, sessions with me are typically a combination of compassionate listening, exploration of concerns, support, validation, and discussion of concrete coping tools.

Initial Evaluation (50 minutes)  |  $210

The first step when initiating individual counseling is for me to assess your mental health history and needs. That means our first official appointment won't feel like therapy quite yet - it'll consist of me asking you lots of questions that'll help me provide recommendations and find out your goals for therapy.

Referral Assistance (25 minutes)  |  $65 per session

Perhaps I'm not the therapist for you, but you feel lost and discouraged and need help in your search. Goodness-of-fit is important, and the therapist hunt can be daunting - especially without access to someone who can answer your questions about the process. Referral Assistance is a non-clinical service via video-conferencing in which I provide practical guidance to help folks jumpstart or expedite their therapist search.

Group Therapy (75 minutes)  |  $65 per session

Group is a powerful therapy format offering unique therapeutic benefits that individual therapy cannot. Group therapy is also a great option for those who want a more affordable weekly support space.

Before joining a group, we'd meet for a 50-minute individual therapy session and treat it as a Pre-Group Consultation. This is a chance for you to learn more about the group, for me to hear about your needs related to the group topic, and for us to decide together if it would be a good fit for you.

I'm currently maintaining waitlists for the following groups

Cultivating Self-Compassion  |  Structured, interactive, 10-week group for individuals desiring to improve their sense of worth and relationship with self. Blends education with experiential exercises and group support.

Living Well With Anxiety  |  Structured, interactive, 10-week group for individuals desiring to learn concepts and tools for anxiety management. Blends education with experiential exercises and group support.

Release & Renew: Support & Coping Skills Group  |  Ongoing, semi-structured group designed to serve as a maintenance form of support, along with opportunities to reinforce and augment existing coping skills.

Dare We Say: Interpersonal Process Group  |  Ongoing, unstructured group designed for adults age ~20-40. Participants utilize the group interactions to deepen their self-awareness, practice authentic emotional expression, and try out new ways of relating to others (e.g., vulnerability, boundary-setting, taking up space), all in a safe and supportive environment.

Out Here Thriving: Divorce Support Group  |  Ongoing, unstructured support group for folks coping with divorce.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical or mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
